The Lake County Bicycle Group (LCBG) was established to connect casual long distance cyclists in the Lake County, IL area with other like-minded folks for camaraderie and fun! We enjoy riding on both roads and trails at a moderate pace of 10-14 mph for round-trip distances of 20 miles plus in a non-competitive, friendly atmosphere. Nature Trail Runners is a casual running club that hosts group runs in Montgomery, Oswego, Aurora and Naperville. We aim to take advantage of the many scenic bike paths and trails the area has to offer. We also host social events so we can all hang out and relax after those tough runs! I started this club because I was unable to find one near where I live. There are wonderful running clubs for Bolingbrook, St. Charles, Downers Grove, and many other surrounding cities, but none for the large city …

A day for women interested in learning about bicycling as practical transportation. This event is by women for women. Women who bike, women who want to bike, and women who want to learn about biking will be interested. There will be opportunities to learn about and try different types of bikes, and sessions on basic bike maintenance.
