Slalom Gates Ski Club is a non-profit, recreational club run by volunteers with a primary emphasis on skiing. Our group also enjoys most winter and summer activities. We have been in existence for over 20 years and have a small but dedicated group of members (about 150). Club members (couples and singles) are typically 30 or older in age. Join us if you'd like to take leisurely road bike rides on the weekend through the scenic countryside around Boulder. Our pace will be slow compared to most cycling clubs, maybe a mild step up from cruiser rides. We'll just go at our own pace. A typical ride might be 20 miles roundtrip in the Boulder area. Meet Mondays at 6:15 PM in front of Proto's Pizza in North Boulder. The run is a baby jogger friendly 5K loop on the North Boulder trails and around Wonderland Lake. Bikes and bike trailers are also welcome! Not to worry if you don't have a child, spouse, dog, or Subaru, you are still welcome and encouraged to join the group. During the Spring, Summer and Fall this year we will host neighborhood rides and bike education for families so that we can explore bike trails and parks in Denver together.
Group of cyclist in the Highlands Ranch, CO area interested in riding together on Saturday mornings. Rides will start out of Adrenalin Cycles at the corner of University and Highlands Ranch Pkwy @ 7:30am every Saturday morning. This is a casual Friday afternoon road or mountain ride leaving from the Morrison area. All abilities are welcome. This is intended as a social networking ride and also an excuse to get out of work early on the second and fourth Fridays of month. Socializing and antics in the parking lot after so BYOB and bring a camp chair. FAC Rides are presented by the young movers and shakers at Team Evergreen Cycling.
